MIAMI-NATIVE, CHOREOGRAPHER AND PERFORMING ARTIST, GENTRY ISAIAH GEORGE, JOINS THE PETER LONDON GLOBAL DANCE COMPANY ARTISTIC TEAM

MIAMI, FL (October 2020) - Miami’s leading multicultural, contemporary dance ensemble, the Peter London Global Dance Company (PLGDC) (@peterlondongdc), is pleased to announce Gentry Isaiah George joined the Company as Rehearsal Director. Mr. George comes to PLGDC after serving as the Founding Artistic Director of New York City-based Zest Collective.

Peter London, founder, artistic director, and choreographer, says, “The Company is looking forward to the next decade of artistic innovation and will expand its base, as well as tour nationally and internationally as the multicultural dance ambassador for Miami.” Mr. London welcomes Mr. George, “a skilled and experienced choreographer and performing artist in the industry.”

Mr. George, who was born in Miami, graduated from the New World School of the Arts. A graduate from Julliard, Mr. George has performed with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Ailey II, and Peter London Global Dance Company, where he choreographed four ballets since 2015.  Currently, Mr. George is creating a new group work for PLGDC’s 10th Anniversary world premiere, “Women-Roses-Water,” including a solo that he will perform in the new men’s work “Roses for Women,” both with commissioned scores by Ezra Haugabrooks, founding artistic director and conductor for the Ballet and Dance Orchestra.
