Peter London, Artistic Director and our Board of Directors thank all of you, Friends of PLGDC, the Miami Foundation, the Knight Foundation, the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs, the Miami Beach Department of Cultural Affairs, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, The State of Florida Department of Cultural Affairs, the NEA, FAN, The Green Family Foundation, AVRAM Corporation, the WEGE Foundation, and all of our sponsors for their steadfast and critical support.

Giving builds and makes art accessible to everyone, and nourishes communities with inspiration and joy.

We thank you immensely for choosing PLGDC as a cultural community ambassador in support of our annual programming, as we celebrate our 11th season this year with Community Educational workshops for Summer Camp kids, Women Choreographic Voices, New Composition Initiative, Art Basel, our annual season with our Arts Partners at the Adrienne Arsht Center, The Little Haiti Cultural Complex and The Betsy Hotel.

We continue to be the home base for many of our illustrious native artists who continue to blaze a trail around the world. Their performances and choreography for PLGDC are a treat for our community of family, colleagues, and friends every year during our community performances. This season's new choreographic works will be premiered by Justin Rapaport, Kashia Kancey, Alondra Balbuena, and Vitolio Jeune. International artist Terry Springer's new ballet Embers will also premiere on December 28-31 at the Arsht season Ancestral Ground, and award-winning Jazz trumpeter and composer Etienne Charles hit score Bacchanal Tuesday will be featured.

In November, International Hip Hop artist David Milome, Artistic Director of MDCompany, brings his powerhouse new work for an International Cultural Partnership collaboration with PLGDC, sponsored by the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs, for a world premiere in July 2023 at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex and his native Martinique. 

December 1-3 is Art Basel at The Betsy Hotel featuring our collaboration with internationally acclaimed Zimbabwean photography artist Tamary Kudita, and December 4 is our performance event at Overtown's Historic Lyric Theatre hosted by AfriKin. The National Theatre Daniel Sorano in Dakar, Senegal will be our next Global Miami Cultural Ambassador engagement in December 2022.

• December 1-3: Peter London collaboration with International Artist from Zimbabwe, Tamari Kudita for Art Basel at The Betsy Hotel.

• December 4: Performance with AfriKin organization at the Historic Lyric Theater in Overtown.

• December 28-31: Our 10th-anniversary annual season at the Arsht Center with a magnificent program - Ancestral Ground.
